Who am I?

I am Avindra Fernando.

I am a Software Consultant who has over 13 years of experience in architecting and developing modern web applications, automating workflows, and mentoring fellow engineers. In 2021, I founded Taprobane Consulting to help clients modernize their platforms, architect scalable applications, and enhance both user and developer experience. Our team has successfully delivered numerous high-quality projects across diverse industries.

I have a strong passion for constant innovation, software architecture, and leadership. Through client engagements, conference talks, and workshops, I have taught tech professionals areas including modern web frameworks (React, Next.js), test automation (Playwright, Cypress), and AI-powered software development.

I regularly speak at tech conferences across the country. I plan to utilize my experience and motivation to help lead the future technology direction to accelerate the growth of companies.

I taught Software Architecture at The University of Kansas as an Industry Lecturer, highlighting my passion for education and my commitment to mentoring future technology leaders.
